About Me
Elimane SALL
Software Engineer - Backend developer
Based in Paris, France
My Journey
As a passionate Software Engineer specializing in backend development, I've had the opportunity to work on diverse projects that have shaped my expertise in creating robust and scalable solutions.
My journey in tech began at a very young age, sparked by my father's programming in Fortran and I owned my first personal computer, an Amstrad CPC, at just 6 years old. This early fascination with computers led me to pursue formal education at TELECOM Nancy, where I honed my skills in computer science and software engineering. Since then, I've been fortunate to work with innovative companies like Radio France, where I've contributed to developing and maintaining cutting-edge web applications.
I'm particularly enthusiastic about technologies like Typescript, Node.js, GraphQL, and React, and I'm always eager to learn and adapt to new challenges in the ever-evolving tech landscape.
Beyond Coding
When I'm not immersed in code, you can find me riding the waves at the beach, as I'm an avid surfer. I also love hitting the basketball court for a game with friends. In my downtime, I enjoy contributing to open-source projects, which allows me to give back to the developer community. To balance my technical pursuits, I indulge in artistic activities like painting, which helps me tap into my creative side and refresh my perspective. Additionally, I'm a huge fan of retro gaming and emulation, particularly enjoying classics from systems like GBA, SNES, Neo Geo, and Sega Mega Drive. This passion for vintage games allows me to relive nostalgic moments and appreciate the evolution of game design.
